In the second quarter of 2025, the tools app category in Israel showcased varied performance trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $10K in mid-May. Weekly downloads were highest in early May, reaching around 2.5K, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at about 13.8K.

Wallet - Store Your Cards experienced a peak in weekly revenue of $4.2K in early June. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight peak at 1.3K at the start of April. Active users showed a minor increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 11.7K.

AVG AntiVirus & Security demonstrated a strong upward trend in revenue, reaching $3.4K by mid-June. Downloads peaked at 5.8K in mid-June, while active users saw a slight decrease over the quarter, closing at around 54.9K.

ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN had a peak revenue of $7.3K in late April. Downloads were highest in mid-April at 2K, and active users started the quarter strong at 13.6K, slightly decreasing to 9.8K by quarter's end.

Finally, iRISCO maintained steady revenue, peaking at $5.1K in mid-April. Downloads remained low, peaking at 127 in early May, with active users staying relatively stable around 1.1K throughout the quarter.
